Medium Build Presents The King of Having Fun on Tour

Medium Build is the musical project of singer-songwriter Nick Carpenter, known for his candid lyrics and distinctive blend of indie, folk, and alternative sounds. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Carpenter began his musical journey in church and later studied songwriting in Nashville. In 2016, he relocated to Anchorage, Alaska, where he launched Medium Build, drawing inspiration from his diverse experiences across the United States.

Since its inception, Medium Build has released five studio albums, including the 2024 release “Country,” and the EP “Marietta,” which features a collaboration with Julien Baker on the track “Yoke.” The project has gained recognition for its emotionally resonant music, with songs like “Friend for Life,” a collaboration with X Ambassadors, debuting at No. 17 on Billboard’s Alternative Digital Song Sales chart in 2023.

In 2026, Carpenter announced the release of his sixth studio album, “King of Having Fun,” set for September 4. This album marks a new chapter in his musical journey, reflecting his personal growth and experiences. The accompanying “King of Having Fun on Tour” will feature performances across North America, including a stop at the Tower Theatre in Oklahoma City on October 21.
