FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS : HEALTH AND SAFETY
Q: What are your current requirements for entry?
A: Beginning September 8, 2021, guests at public events including all concerts at Tower Theatre and Ponyboy will be asked to provide proof of vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test, taken within 72 hours of the performance.
Q: Will your staff and artists be held to the same standard?
A: Our staff is on track to be fully vaccinated by Sept. 8. While we don’t anticipate many unvaccinated artists or tour staff, masks will be made available for these individuals. We also have procedures in place that will allow social distancing amongst our staff and tour members.
Q: I’m unable to get vaccinated or tested before the show. Can I get a refund?
A: The deadline to claim a credit or refund was September 10th, 2021. Refund requests that come in after that date will not be honored. If you are unable to attend your event, you have the option to sell your ticket to another fan. Tixel is our official ticket resale partner and the only place where you can buy and sell genuine tickets to Tower Theatre and Ponyboy events.
Q: What’s the best way to prove I’m fully vaccinated?
A: Your physical COVID-19 vaccine card will be accepted, as well as a photo or document scan. Please remember to bring your matching ID!
Q: I’ve lost or misplaced my vaccine card. What should I do?
A: First, contact your healthcare provider, they should have a copy. Additionally, proof of your vaccination may be available with the Oklahoma State Immunization System. Learn more here! (https://oklahoma.gov/health.html)
Q: What’s the best way to scan and store my vaccine card?
A: If you’re an iPhone user, open the Notes app and tap the icon in the upper right corner:
Next, tap “scan.”
A clear photo will also suffice.
Q: How long will this policy remain in effect?
A: Discussions are ongoing, but our health and safety policies will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
Q: What about guests under 12 years of age, who are ineligible to receive the vaccine?
A: We kindly ask that guests under the age of 12 wear a mask during the duration of their visit.
Q: Can I still get a refund to the show if I test positive for COVID within 72 hours of the performance?
A: Absolutely. Your refund will be issued upon submission of your positive test result to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please allow 30 days for your refund to process.
Q: What if I miss the refund request deadline?
A: You will be directed to your event’s ticket resale marketplace. We are choosing to partner with Tixel, an online platform that provides a safe and easy place for you to sell your ticket to another fan. A link to your event’s market place will be emailed to you on August 25, 2021.
Q: Are private events and rentals subject to these policies?
A: While we strongly encourage their adoption across the board, private events and rentals - including Sunday church services - are not subject to these policies at this time.
Q: Where can I get a COVID-19 test?
A: The OKC County Health department is an excellent resource to find local testing sites. You can view their website here. If you are not located in the immediate Oklahoma City area – Walgreens, Walmart, and CVS have testing options available as well. Please contact the location nearest you for more information.
Q: How do I submit my COVID-19 test results to the venue?
A: Please have a printed copy of your results on hand. You can also pull up the results on your phone. Please do not submit your negative test result to us via email as they will not be stored. You must provide either of these items in person at check-in for entry. All tests must be taken within 72 hours of the event.
Q: How do I submit my at home COVID-19 test results?
A: While at-home tests are available, we prefer that ticket holders provide test results from a physician or local testing site. If you plan to submit at-home test results, DO NOT bring the actual test kit to the venue. Please take a photo of your negative result next to a timestamp – e.i. your computer screen or a cellphone. Your test must be taken within 72 hours of each event. This photo will be sufficient for entry.
Q: I tested positive for COVID-19 three days prior to my event, what do I do now?
A: If you test positive for COVID-19, please email your positive test results to email@example.com along with your event name and order confirmation number. We will issue a refund for your tickets.
Q: What if I have only received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine before my event?
A: Our policy states that all attendees must be fully vaccinated for entry to any publically ticketed event. Those who have not received both doses will be required to provide a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours of the event.
POSTPONED & RESCHEDULED SHOWS
Thank you for your patience during this unprecedented time, we are working to reschedule affected shows and communicate with ticket buyers. This page will be updated regularly as we have new announcements. If your show does not appear on this list, the event has been cancelled and refunds have been issued.
For shows that have been rescheduled: We encourage you to hold on to your tickets, they will be valid for the rescheduled dates! All ticket buyers will receive an email notification with instructions on how to manage your current tickets or begin the refund process. To follow-up on questions regarding your tickets for a rescheduled event please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
For shows that have been canceled: You will receive an email notification from us with information on your automatic refund timeline. If you need to check the status of your refund, please send an email to email@example.com.
For shows that are postponed: Plans to reschedule postponed shows are currently underway. Any further show changes will be dependent on developing guidelines from the health care professionals. Please check our site often and follow us on social for the most up-to-date information.
If you are in a position where you cannot attend a new date, or you can not wait for a new date to announce, you have options. Please send us an email with your name, show and order number and we will assist you as soon as we can.
